Role Overview: As the Vice President of Strategy, you will play a crucial role in shaping Rozana's strategic direction, driving growth, and ensuring that our business model remains responsive to the dynamic needs of rural markets. You will lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, market expansion plans, and partnership strategies. Your insights and leadership will be instrumental in guiding Rozana through its next phase of growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Lead the strategic planning process, developing long-term goals and actionable strategies to achieve Rozana's mission of expanding e-commerce access in rural India.

- Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, developing strategies for market entry and expansion that leverage Rozana's strengths to serve more rural communities.

- Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with government entities, NGOs, and private sector players to enhance Rozana's reach and impact in rural areas. Manage relationships with key stakeholders to support strategic objectives.

- Innovation and Product Strategy: Collaborate with product and technology teams to guide the development of innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of rural consumers. Ensure that Rozana's product offerings are aligned with strategic goals and market demands.

- Operational Excellence: Work closely with the Operations team to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices across the organization. Drive initiatives that support scalability and sustainability.

- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Oversee financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decisions, including investments, cost-saving initiatives, and performance tracking against strategic goals.

- Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing strategy team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team's alignment with Rozana's strategic vision and goals.

- Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the company as Rozana evolves and grows.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

- 10+ years of strategic planning and leadership experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or a related sector with a focus on rural or emerging markets.

- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic initiatives that have driven growth and operational excellence.

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and building strong internal and external partnerships.

- Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in rural e-commerce, with innovative approaches to addressing market needs.

- Proven ability to navigate complex business environments and lead through change with resilience and foresight.
