QC Head

Role & Responsibility

- Perform thorough inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet predetermined specifications and quality standards.

- Conduct in-process quality checks during manufacturing to identify and address deviations from established standards.

- Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures, protocols, and documentation to ensure adherence to industry regulations

- Participate in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control and assurance processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and regulatory affairs, to establish and maintain quality improvement initiatives.

- Compile and analyze test results, identifying trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.

- Generate comprehensive reports detailing test outcomes, deviations, and corrective actions taken.

- Provide actionable insights to management for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and product quality.

- Conduct internal audits and quality reviews to ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.

- Assist in the preparation for external audits by regulatory agencies and customers, providing necessary documentation and support.

- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.

- Collaborate with relevant departments to implement solutions and prevent recurrence of quality deviations.

- Provide training to manufacturing personnel on quality control processes, equipment operation, and relevant quality guidelines.

- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continually enhance the quality control and assurance processes.

Required Profile:

- Person with M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B. Tech / M. Tech. (Chemical Engineering) shall be preferred.

- Strong understanding of industry best practices related to agro chemical manufacturing.

- Proficiency in using various laboratory equipment and techniques.

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct thorough root cause analyses.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments and present findings.

- Prior experience in quality control/quality assurance within the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.
