Functional Responsibilities :
- Estimate. Develop, Strategies and formulate Annual Business Plan, Market share objectives in consultation with Regional Head Line with business strategy.
- Preparation of strategic business and marketing plans.
- Formulation of annual sales Plan and budget Generation of customer demand for achieving sales plans.
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales plan
- Liase with customer cell at HO to draw sales plans for customers.
- Follow up in weekly /monthly/quarterly achievement of sales targets by tracking performance of the team members
Focus on customer satisfaction/customer delight :
- Ensure updation of customer database of all the region.
- Ensure that product specifications are in line with customer needs.
- Regularly measure consumer and trade satisfaction
- Seek customer feedback and implement for product improvement
- Conduct periodic market research for customer need/expectation analysis.
- Develop new customers, new products for customers which could be market specific or market customized.
Quality Management :
- Ensure quality of all aspects of marketing and manage the cost of non quality
- Emphasize product quality and influence factory groups for product quality
- Create and maintain adequate internal controls that ensure quality of managerial and operational processes.
- Comply with social and statutory responsibilities.
Improvement Focus :
- Constantly seek to improve and enhance products, processes and services.
- Identity ways to make the job easier or more effective.
- Set examples of high quality work for others.
- Provide customers with accurate information
- Review products or materials for quality.
Product Development and Management :
Would have innovative management of the product portfolio
- Identification of new ideas for implementation
- Identification of product market opportunities that match customer needs with organisations core competencies
- Identification of new product opportunities
- Working with R&D/QC regarding product, quality related issues.
Competitive Analysis :
- Ensure comprehensive and ongoing analysis of competitors' core competencies, vulnerabilities activities and current and potentials positions in the marketplace with references to Sales & Service and communicate the same appropriately.
Customer and Market Surveys :
- Assess Competitive Manufacturing capabilities
- Competitive product sampling/analysis
Monitor Competitive Activities :
- Leveraging best service, sales, marketing, practises.
- Benchmark developments with respect to the relevant product categories with an open mind.
- Encourage adoption and rapid implementation of best practises.
- Identify and analyse best practices.
- Document and communicate best practise
- Support implementation of best practises
- Create networks and learning
Planning :
- Develop an overall plan of action and set appropriate goals, taking into account both immediate and f future needs; re-plan as necessary to fit plans into the context of Company business strategies and priorities.
