- This crucial role is designed for an individual boasting 6-8 years of significant experience in compliance, legal affairs, and regulatory oversight, specifically within the digital dating/matrimonial app/platform sector or related industries in India.

- The appointed candidate will play a key role in ensuring our operations are in full compliance with Indian laws and regulations, thus safeguarding the company's integrity and contributing to its growth and success in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Indian legal frameworks and international standards affecting the online dating and matrimonial sector, including IT Act, Data Protection Bills, and consumer protection laws.

- Policy Development and Implementation: Formulate, enforce, and review comprehensive legal and compliance policies and procedures, with a strong focus on data privacy, user safety, and ethical business practices.

- Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to pinpoint potential legal and compliance risks; devise effective strategies to mitigate these risks.

- Contract and Agreement Scrutiny: Manage the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts with service providers, partners, and other third parties to align with Indian legal standards and company policies.

- Legal Advisory Services: Offer precise and timely legal counsel to management and various departments on a broad array of issues, including intellectual property rights, labor laws, and digital content regulations.

- Dispute Resolution: Efficiently handle and resolve legal disputes and litigations to minimize risk and financial exposure.

- Compliance Training and Awareness: Lead training initiatives to promote a culture of legal compliance and integrity across the organization. Qualifications:

- Educational Background: A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university in India, with a valid license to practice law in India.

- Experience Requirement: 6-8 years of proven experience in a compliance and legal role within the dating/matrimonial app industry or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on Indian regulatory environments.

- In-depth Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape specific to online platforms in India, including expertise in data protection, consumer rights, and IT laws.
