Sales Lead
1. AVP - SALES:
About the Role:
- Closely work the CEO. Lead, oversee & support sales of all group companies while closely working with sales heads of the subsidiary entities.
- Define plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales targets while aiming for new customer acquisition & new market development
- Manage the sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth.
- Ensure optimum allocation and use of assigned budgets.
- Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
- Deliver customer delight by understanding the customer expectations and contribution towards customer satisfaction.
- Work with the CEO to provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
- Close association with marketing function to plan various marketing initiatives for sales support
- Manage key customer relationships and lead the sales efforts in closing strategic opportunities.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to the company leadership team and other company functions.
- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff as well as rep. agencies to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships. Also, travel to global locations for trade shows, events, visits, etc. as decided by the management for company's growth.
Qualifications & Experience :
- 6 to 15 years of experience in international sales, B2B/B2C sales, setting up international & Indian distribution channels, Ecomm sales, institutional sales, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Great at using Excel (google sheets), PPTs & Docs.
- Some must haves for the ideal fit - Team Player, Communicator, Go-getter Attitude, Self Motivated, Quick Learner & Learning Mindset, Humble, Technology Advanced. Experience of USA Retail market.
