Job Description: Position: Logistics Manager Department: Finance Reporting To: CFO Industry: Food &amp; Beverages and FMCG (ONLY) Location: Zambia/Zimbabwe Target Company: Soft Drinks/Beverages Role &amp; Responsibilities: - Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials - Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments/dispatch of goods - To monitor and ensure correct loading of goods as per orders. - Coordination with sales team and other departments. - Finished goods physical verification / reconciliation - Control - Ensuring product availability by coordinating with Sales team and production team - Negotiate rates with carriers - Recruitment and training of warehouse personnel - Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients- criteria - Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs - Maintain customer service logs and safety records - Able to use SAP, ERP/computer packages to monitor stock levels &amp; movement and generate invoices Desired Skills &amp; Experience: - MA/BA/ M.Com/ B.Com - Accounting personnel will get preference. - At least 8-12 years experience in related field - Logistic Management. - The applicants should have experience in Manufacturing (FMCG). - Sound knowledge and practical experience in SAP, MS Excel and MS Word. - Excellent presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills.
