Job Purpose:

Leading the Finance Function for the organization by providing complete financial management, accounting, taxation, treasury strategy and execution, optimal generation, and utilization of financial resources in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

He will work closely with the Managing Director to provide financial inputs and guidelines towards the growth of the business.

Position: Chief Finance Officer - Beverages

Industry: Food & Beverages and FMCG (ONLY)

Location: Morocco

Primary Roles & Accountabilities:

- Prepare and Monitor the company's budget. Review reports periodically to analyze projections of revenues and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggest methods of improving the planning process as appropriate.

- Manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, as appropriate

- Oversee the compliance & efficiency regarding the direct & indirect tax accounting, returns & assessment. Monitor capex & revenue expenditure and manage assets from acquisitions to disposition. Manage Statutory, Cost and Internal Auditors. Lead audits to include annual financial audit & required by management & other authorities

- Working Capital Management, arranging for the funds-short term, long term etc, work with banks to raise additional capital and negotiate best interest rates. Closely monitoring cash flows and take necessary steps to ensure the continuous availability of working capital.

- Ensure robust and timely accounting procedures, policy compliance and work jointly with internal customers to provide high quality business solutions

- Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

- Perform all management functions to effectively and efficiently manage the staff, ensuring proper training, determining standards of performance and fostering a cooperative and harmonious working environment conducive to maximize employee morale and productivity.

Qualification and Work experience:

- Qualified CA (passed in the 1st attempt) with 18 - 25 years of post-qualification experience and should have worked in a multi-locational FMCG setup, with exposure to factory and sales commercial and control functions.

- A Cost Accounting degree in addition would be an advantage.
