What you will do:

- Improve Availability, Reliability & 7 sigma Safety of 5000+ owned Trucks and related assets such as tyres

- Lead a large team of Maintenance Engineers and regional teams

- Set up vehicle maintenance workshops for managing complete maintenance of Rivigo fleet by managing the project and execution for the region

- Set up procedures, SOPs and quality control mechanisms

- Constantly drive & track 100% compliance to preventive, scheduled and breakdown maintenance in his zone to achieve target MTTR/MTBF and 100% client SLA

- Partner with OEM and industry experts to engineer & implement mechanical & - poka-yoke- modifications in BSIII & BSIV trucks and related assets based on data based RCAs of breakdowns

- Develop & Optimize Processes - conduct competitive vendor benchmarking, zero base budget for optimal cost spare-parts procurement and set-up of best 5S inventory management processes

- Identify, Cost benefit analyse & scale up of maintenance related infrastructure

- Conduct trials, design of experiments, campaigns & QC/QA practices for trucks for improving reliability

- Costs Frugality - Control Costs and optimise related to asset R&M through frugal innovations with a focus on ROI.

- Process improvement - Identify operational and structural weaknesses and scale up operations to 100X through technology obsessed kaizens and automation

- Predictive Maintenance - Working on IOT to make assets as zero breakdown machinery

- Technology - Development of maintenance ERP system for better management of assets. Ensure 100% adoption and adherence to newly launched processes and technologies and products across zone

- Strategic Manpower planning, recruitment, appraisals and discipline & training of field engineers, technicians & pilots

- Build, maintain, and communicate best practices of quality and maintenance & safety across network and make data-driven decisions

What you will be responsible for:

- Excellence in delivery - Ensure the delivery of the work orders as per the schedule. Ensure that all actions have been documented according to Workshop policies and procedures. Inspect the quality of repairs before the release of vehicles. Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the Service Area. Identify Root cause of the issues and implement Corrective action to avoid recurrence of it. Communicate with team to horizontally deploy corrective action in other vehicles.

- Manage the workshop budget - Plan and prepare annual budget for the workshop, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions. Monitor, control and improve Variable and Fixed expenses of workshop.

- Inventory Management - Ensure that the all assets, spares and consumables are managed as per the SOP. Conduct periodic physical verification of inventory as per the system stock. Report the deviations and implement corrective actions

- Statutory Compliances - Ensure all procedures and practices at the workshops complies with the statutory requirements

What We Need:-

Education:

- BE / BTech /MBA from Tier 1 engineering college

- Minimum 60% marks in class X, XII and Graduation

Years of experience - 

- 10 to 15+ years

Professional Attributes:

- 10-15+ years of operational/analytical/commercial experience in maintenance in manufacturing or automobile set up

- Hands on experience of implementing systems and processes

- Experience in improving maintenance KPIs

- Ability to build, manage, train and coach a large maintenance team (>100 people at various levels)

- Ability to handle crisis situations
