Risk Officer - CA - Bank

We are looking for a Risk professional at a senior level management with a bank.

Location: Mumbai

Qualification- CA or Equivalent

Total experience- 15+ yrs of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

- Implementation of risk based approach in identifying, measuring, monitoring, and reporting of Credit, Operational and Market Risk areas and liaise with the related departments to ensure the risk framework is in place across the Bank.

- Review of various risk policies and procedures, risk limits and approval authorities across the bank and ensure sound implementation.

- Maintain, direct and functional oversight of the Risk Management Operations. Identifying the emerging risk issues and initiate mitigation strategies. Monitor effectiveness of implementation of risk strategy and policies.

- Monitoring of Market Risk Exposures against limits at country, regional, global and group level.

- Well-versed with the entire business processes and controls, standardization of processes for all risk areas.

- Monitoring of Credit Risk Portfolio, overseeing the collateral and documentation management, monitoring and controlling on delinquencies.

- Involved in the credit appraisal process, vetting of risk rating, assessment of business / financial projections of counterparties, structuring of credit with acceptable parameters of bank's risk appetite to mitigate the risks for a balanced credit decisions.
