Looking For Risk Manager/ Risk Associate for India's leading provider of financial services

Role Description:

- MSFL is looking for a zealous risk manager to monitor the risk of our prop trading desk. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and monitoring all types of risks such as financial, operational, technological etc.

- The candidate will perform regular risk audits by generating VAR reports multiple times a day and closely monitoring margin and pnl status of traders.

- Other day-to-day functions include scenario analysis, preparing EOD risk reports, weekly reconciliation of margins and limits, server allocation to new trader etc.

Skills Required:

- Must have a sound understanding of multiple products such as commodities, stocks, currency, and risk arising from our open positions in them.

- Thorough understanding of options greeks and managing them.

- Managing floor level VAR and controlling exposure in scripts traded.

- Regular updates on global happenings that might have an impact on the market.

- Multiple scenario analysis in case of gap up/down on the next trading day.

- Deciding single order value and quantity for traders based on their allotted margins.

- Well versed with MS Excel, Greeksoft, Odin, NEAT.

- Spotting and reporting any violations of risk guidelines.
