Risk Management Analyst - PE Firm

We are assisting one of the renowned Private Equity firms for the position of Risk Management Analyst in Gurgaon.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

- Lead the Risk Management Function

- Lead the company wide risk management function, evaluating risk exposures and deal level as well asportfolio level.

- Evaluating and analyzing risk management strategies, along with monitoring and reporting of risk

- Exposures at the deal wide and portfolio wide level.

- Maintain quarterly risk overview packages to be reviewed by the risk committee, developing and

- Maintaining procedural documentation for all regularly-performed tasks

- Respond to frequent ad-hoc and on-going requests for analysis, data gathering and reporting on risk related matters

- Support COE research and analysis for Investment teams

- Support the global research initiatives of the investment teams in India, China, HK, Korea, Japan and NY. This includes but is not restricted to – Comparable company analysis, Industry Research, Competitor search, financial statement analysis, Web Research, News Runs, etc.

- Market data research including competitive analysis, PE/ fund raising landscape

- Regular usage of financial and research databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva, etc. and ensuring accurate and analytical deliverables

- Supporting Marketing and Investor Relations Function

- Assist in preparation of Monthly Marketing Reports, Tear sheets for large investors, updating pitch-books

CANDIDATE PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Post graduate in finance with excellent academic record/preferably from top tier B-Schools

- Risk Management exposure required in terms of previous experience and education

- 3-5 years’ experience in similar roles

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic knowledge of finance and accounting is required
