Risk & Control Officer - Financial Services Firm

OVERVIEW

- Our Global banking Client is looking for a 5-7 years post qualified MBA / CA who has strong experience in Internal Controls .

- 5+ years in a control/risk management experience in financial services industry

- The role demands knowledge of end user controls including spreadsheet controls, departmental operational risks, financial modelling controls, internal compliance controls .

- Whilst the role sits within a finance function it represents the internal control function of the department and therefore applicants from:

Internal Audit, Operational Risk or Internal Risk and Controls backgrounds are welcome .

We are looking for candidates whose experience comes from global banks, NBFCs or large Indian Corporates only.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ownership of end to end core deliverables for Corporate FinancialPlanning including but not limited to End User Computing, Finance Models Identification, Models Risk Management, Outsourcing Governance etc

- Build Strategy and Execute Risk&Control responsibilities by leading and working with various stakeholders in ensuring delivery of E2E components of policies and frameworks

- Lead the facilitation, coordination and resolution of efforts for the business unit via project planning, execution and control of key risk & control initiatives as needed in alignment with requirements and standards set by the centralized governance and oversight teams (e.g. MCA, EUC, MRM etc.)

- Inventory management & review of compliance control activities such as monthly information sheet, KPI and book of work submissions, reports/review materials/activities review for enhanced controls (e.g. maker/checker), standard operating procedures completeness assessment, etc

- Govern Monthly / Quarterly control & compliance forum meetings and share review score cards with senior management
