Risk Analyst - Financial & Regulatory Control Reporting - CA

We are hiring for Financial, Regulatory and Risk Analyst for Mumbai ( Goregaon )

Job type- Off role to the bank

- Key areas of role: Financial and regulatory reporting set up and IT testing, SoX controls and balance sheet substantiation, regular regulatory reporting, interacting and collaborating with internal departments and IT team, interacting with external stakeholders such as regulator and auditors.

- Professional Qualification: Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience

- Experience: Preferably 5 to 7 years of experience in Financial control / regulatory reporting in a bank or NBFC in India

- Maximum Monthly CTC - Negotiable for the righ talent

- Project duration: 2 years

- Shift timings: India timings (9:30 am to 6 with extended hours on deadlines basis)

- Work from Home at present (Yes/No): hybrid

Role requirement

- Person must be a highly motivated, high performing individual with a positive mindset willing to set up finance systems in a new legal entity.

- Person is required to interact and influence various stakeholders to achieve objectives and hence effective communication skills are a must.

- Experience in SAP will be preferred.

- He/ She must be able to handle all levels of complexity in their product coverage or area under control, be able to multitask with relative ease and be flexible enough in shifting workload in accordance with changing priorities and be comfortable dealing with a sometimes stressful and fast-paced priority-driven environment.

- He/she is expected to have demonstrated experience of working with multiple teams in a matrix organization. Need to travel if required.

Reporting Line:

- This is an associate level role reporting to the head of regulatory reporting.

Role details

- Understanding regulatory reporting and financial reporting requirements for project and leading implementation of the same

- Set up of regulatory reporting platform and processes, including mapping of accounts to regulatory reports for the entity

- Set up and implementation of financial reporting platform (SAP) and processes for the entity

- Leading IT testing for new financial and regulatory platforms and processes from a Finance perspective

- Having a detailed understanding of the SAP ledger, SAP processes related to financial reporting and chart of accounts

- Preparation and submission of regulatory reports at required frequency

- Driving the statutory audit process for the legal entity, including liaising with the statutory auditors and internal stakeholders.

- Performing Sox controls overall balance sheet controls at required frequency

- Month-end cost signoffs.

- Support the accounting and reporting related matters including validation and control function of for other entities as required.

- Handling Inter-company accounting, invoicing, settlement & reporting and addressing matters related to cost bookings in India entities

- Assist the HO Tax workbooks, tax filings / assessment process related to income tax, transfer pricing and GST

- Interacting with regulators for proving required clarifications, substantiations

- Work in close coordination with Finance Service centres at Pune and Manila

- Support internal audit work as and when required

- Interacting with IT team, operations and other stakeholders to ensure that systemic reporting process.

- Working knowledge of SAP and ability to understand the complex system architecture and platforms
