Risk Analyst - Commodity Trading Domain

Key Functions & Responsibilities :

- Reporting/analytics capability including proficiency in Excel/VBA/Python/Tableau/SQL/etc

- Develop new tools, leveraging technology, to assist with risk analysis and help to deliver insightful reporting/analytics that will enable business decision making and commercial growth.

- Perform stress and scenario analysis on regulatory risk, liquidity risk, concentration risk, working capital, etc.

- Leverage risk analysis into ideas for challenging trading strategies and fostering a more robust conversation with front office.

- Create, upgrade & maintain PNL reports. Verification of PNL across products and provide PNL data in requested format.

- Facilitate and oversee effective and consistent compliance and controls that are followed in US wholesale power markets (ISOs,/FERC/NERC).

- Support global growth plan.

- Support any ad hoc reporting requirements.

- Become an expert on ETRM and VaR systems, valuation models, risk tools and applications.

- Liaise with IT to lead and manage projects.

Essential Requirement :

- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Finance or Accounting.

- Master's Degree in Data Science, IT, Finance or Accounting with Internship experience in related field.

Essential Experience & Job Requirements:

- Reporting/analytics capability including proficiency in Excel/VBA/Python/Tableau/SQL/etc.

- Preferred 4+ years of experience in a commodity trading environment.

- Strong analytical, quantitative, and data science skills.
