Short Description

Build various statistical and operations research predictive models to optimize the return on investment decisions on cross functional domains and applications for RIL businesses.

Long Description

Job Accountabilities

- Expert in applying statistical methods & Techniques ( e.g - Regression, Sampling techniques, hypothesis, Segmentation, Time Series Analysis, Multivariate Statistical Analysis, Predictive Modeling).

- Hands on experience in analytics and data mining with large databases (e.g. transaction level).

- Excellent proficiency in statistical (parametric and non-parametric) and econometric methods.

- Excellent proficiency in SAS and other statistical tools.

- Excellent ability to communicate complex quantitative terms to business stakeholders.

- Fluent in English with good verbal and Written Communication skills.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

- R, SAS or SPSS.

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

Education: - Post Graduate - Statistics/ Mathematics/ Engineering/ Economics / Operation Research / Machine Learning

- Experienced in working with an advanced analytical team to design, build, validate and refresh data models that enable the next generation of sophisticated solutions for RIL businesses.

- 8-10 years of work experience in building predictive models in various domains.

- Strong analytical and technical skills in R, SAS or SPSS, VBA, MS Excel etc.

- Strong business and functional acumen, communication skills and drive for results.
