Reporting to the Lead - Instructional Designer, the Instructional Designer will design and develop world-class learning solutions across specific learning academies. This individual will support the shift to program solutions which are modular, experiential, blended, relevant and readily available through the LMS learning infrastructure. Job Accountabilities: - With the Lead - Instructional Designer, partner with Academy teams to achieve agreement on content, design and delivery principles - Design and develop robust and innovative instructional designs that advance migration towards modular, experiential solutions that measure business impact - Manage the third party procurement process, managing partners and contractors through development and delivery phases of the project ensuring delivery to time and budget. - Apply 70:20:10 learning principles are to learning designs with a bias towards application of learning on-the-job - Design - bite-sized- modules to provide learner access to content in a self-paced environment - Create learning solutions which encompass relevant and real life scenarios and experiential techniques - Use technology to promote just-in-time access and self-paced learning opportunities - Engage with technical specialists, practitioners, faculty and delivery leads in the development of content - Work closely with the Learning Operations team to deliver solutions that are readily available online in modular format - Design solutions that are readily measureable - Working with key stakeholders, define and gain agreement on KPIs and process for assessing business impact Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills): The ideal candidate will have all or a good mix of the following: - 3+ years experience within learning design - Experience in design and development of large, high impact, technology-enabled learning programs with flexible scope and scale, that address the competence needs of the individual - Proven experience designing and delivering solutions which are modular, blended and experiential - Strong communication, influencing and facilitation skills - Ability to facilitate and integrate diverse views of leaders while managing conflict to produce coherent and integrated learning material - Ability to develop and maintain strong networks across the business - Strong understanding of training design and development principles - Experience in using technology to deliver learning concepts across a complex organization - Proven project management skills - Experience managing 3rd parties as part of a blended delivery team Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications) - Post Graduate degree or proven capability to learn
