Business Manager/Executive Assistant (Oil & Gas) - Reliance Industries

Experience Range : 5 to 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry

Location : Navi Mumbai

Job purpose :

Responsible for preparation and monitoring of Trading business plan, capex budget proposals, business operations related policy formulation and implementation, reporting business performance and contribute to overall business strategy formulation. Enable achievement of Business objectives through close co-ordination with other businesses and support functions.

Role :

- Reporting to the head of global trading and working as part of the front office leadership team this role is a key facilitation role that will ensure we deliver our objectives in a timely way

- We will run our initiatives as a series of projects utilizing appropriate project management tools and techniques to define timeliness, activity owners, milestones, dependencies and the critical path

- The programme manager is accountable for working with the front office leadership to define and track the projects in their area

- Accountable for preparing dashboards and status reports and working with owners to define interventions to bring the project back on plan.

- Accountable for coordinating pre-read and dashboards for the monthly trading governance meeting

- It chairs the weekly Global meeting and publishes these to a wide group including the EC.

Profile :

- Proven track record of project management and programme management (at least 4 years)

- Able to demonstrate ability to handle multiple independent parallel activities (at least 5) within a project construct

- Comfortable and competent in intervening when time lines slip and able to do this in a firm but non-confrontational way

- High level of expertise in project management techniques

- Strong report writing (word) and presentation skills (PowerPoint)

- To generate a sense of urgency and importance among the operating level teams for specific needs

- To bring diverse roles and people at various levels to common thinking for implementing change

- Preparation and coordination for execution of various business projects
