We are looking to hire a Project Manager - Male for our upcoming projects - DTC AND DMRC in Delhi.

Looking for a PM who is an experienced, creative, confident leader who is able to inspire and coordinate a team of professionals, their work and project deadlines. The position will be based in Delhi and will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the team at the agencies in

Role : Project Manager

Exp : 4 to 6 years

Qualification :

- Bachelors Degree in Business administration / International relations or related fields. OR Masters/Advanced Degree and one to three years of experience in a related field desired.

Requirements:

- Previous work experience in a similar role in Local Government projects.

- Excellent Communication

Duties and Responsibility:

- In this role, you will provide effective project management of specific projects and Third party Signalling projects, drawing together DTCs requirements as a client and assisting the Department of Transport ensuring quality, cost, time and scope parameters of the projects are adequately set out and achieved.

- Plan, organize, direct and monitor assigned projects to ensure their completion on time and within budget, with all project risks mitigated to minimize their effect on operations whilst ensuring that standards are maintained and conform to applicable safety, reliability and quality standards.

- Ensure that safety of the operating system is at the forefront of all negotiations, meetings and activities and is not compromised during the project.

- Responsible for the effective project management of assigned signalling projects which includes scope, planning, costing, design, construction, testing, commissioning and commercial management.

The Project Manager must provide effective project management by :

a) Obtaining from clients or developing a project brief;

b) Defining scope of works for projects and obtaining client signoff;

c) Providing budget estimate to the client and obtaining client signoff;

d) Preparing project plans and schedules;

e) Negotiating resource availability and securing appropriate project resources.

- Lead the Project Team (both direct staff and external support) and provide direction in the delivery of the Project.

- Manage any contracts, and Contractors, engaged to deliver the project, including contract administration, ensuring that all contractual requirements are met .

- Consult with external agencies on critical issues that impact on projects, and achieve agreement on the most appropriate course of action that meets pre-determined objectives

- Work effectively with relevant agencies internal and external to the business.

- Report frequently to Senior Management on progress of projects and notify Senior Management of any matter which could have a material adverse effect on the business.

- Provide specialist support on technical aspects of the project and liaise with nominated external specialist support resources.

- Evaluate industry responses in conjunction with the designated evaluation team and select preferred suppliers.
