RHI Magnesita - DGM/GM - Taxation

Minimum Qualification: An accountancy professional qualification is preferred

JD in Brief :

- Will be involved in the different tax processes of RHI Magnesita on a group and regional level.

- Will be supporting different Business Units in daily and strategic tax demands.

- To successfully provide input to different teams, you will need to partner up with various stakeholders and act as a collaborative partner throughout the process.

- Analyze Corporate Income Taxes in India, as well as assess the relevant tax impacts to RHI Magnesita both on a retroactively and prospectively basis.

- Draft documents to explain the tax rationale of proposed actions to colleagues of different backgrounds.

- Manage uncertain tax positions

- Identifying and communicating tax-efficiency opportunities.

- Periodically review tax developments (e.g., legislation and significant court rulings) on relevant jurisdictions.

- Follow up of internal key information (e.g., financial results, transfer pricing adjustments and business contracts).

- Proactive engagement with tax authorities, with transparency, alignment and consistency on all key tax matters.

Desired Candidate Profile & Job Requirement:

- Looking for a results-driven specialist, based in India, to deliver a regionally focused value-creation in line with the RHIM tax organization approach.

- Understand international tax concepts and have experience in applying them to strategic corporate situations.

- Have an excellent ability to collaborate cross-functionally and simultaneously manage several tasks.

- Have strong analytical skills and can easily analyze financial data, legislation, and reports to identify tax opportunities.

In addition, must have :

- Experience with Transfer Pricing and its practical implication to companies.

- A relevant educational background (Law, Accounting, Economics or similar)

- Excellent MS Office skills and SAP experience; and

- An accountancy professional qualification is preferred

- Excellent knowledge in English

- Good leadership skill, Quick learner with excellent rapport building ability and communication skills and most of all Team building

- Should have excellent self-starter and should take self-initiative
