Our client one of the global leaders in the Airlines Industry based in Malaysia has been implementing several people initiatives to not only survive but also thrive in amidst the crisis caused by Covid-19 pandemic. Restructuring of compensation is one of the critical initiatives of the overall strategic people agenda. Our client is looking for a seasoned Rewards Specialist to support the implementation of this important project for a period of 2 to 3 months. The person will work closely with the Group CHRO and the HR Top team in addition to working with other key stakeholders in the organization. Key Responsibilities : 1. Revise employment terms and conditions : Work with HR and Legal teams to redraft the employment contract / appointment letter incorporating all the required terms and conditions and get them vetted by the external legal experts in various countries to ensure compliance of various labour laws. 2. Prepare roll-out plan : Develop a comprehensive Roll-out / Change Management and Communication Plan in consultation with HR, Legal, Finance, Corporate / Internal Communication teams which will include emails, town-halls, manager-employee communication, FAQs etc and details such as who, what, when, where and how to guides. 3. Re-contracting of employees : - Prepare revised employment contracts / appointment letters for every individual employee as vetted by the HR and Legal teams - Develop Briefing Packs for Top Management Team, Business / Functional Leaders, HR, Labour / Trade Unions (wherever applicable), Line Managers and employees - Work with HR Operations, Finance and Technology teams to ensure that appropriate changes and reconfigurations are made in the relevant processes and systems - Establish process, timeline and responsibility to ensure every employee is communicated, revised employment contracts / appointment letters are issued & acknowledged, signed documents are collated and stored physically and digitally Candidate specifications : - 10 - 15 years of experience in HR and Rewards preferably in a MNC organization - Strong Change Management / Project Management expertise - Knowledge of Labour and employment related Laws - Ability to work with top and senior management leaders - Strong communication skills both oral and written - Ability to work remotely using technology tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet etc
