Hiring Retail Manager - EBO (Franchise retail) - Only footwear

Location : Gurgaon

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Retail Manager to oversee and manage operations for both Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) and franchise retail locations for our premium footwear brand. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of retail operations, a passion for footwear, and a proven track record of ensuring seamless operations, optimizing processes, and upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities :

1. Store Operations Management:

- Lead and supervise store managers, assistant managers, and operational staff across EBOs and franchise locations.

- Ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of stores, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and adherence to operational procedures.

2. Process Optimization:

- Develop and implement streamlined operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

- Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to address them.

3. Inventory and Stock Management:

- Implement robust inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.

- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and efficient stock distribution.

4. Quality Control:

- Ensure that products on display meet brand quality standards and adhere to visual merchandising guidelines.

- Conduct regular quality checks to guarantee the presentation and condition of products in stores.

5. Franchise Management:

- Oversee franchise retail operations, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and operational procedures.

- Foster strong relationships with franchise partners, providing operational support and guidance as necessary.

6. Staff Training and Development:

- Design and deliver training programs to onboard new staff members and enhance the skills of existing teams.

- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.

7. Customer Service Excellence:

- Uphold a high level of customer service across all locations, ensuring customers receive personalized assistance and an exceptional shopping experience.

8. Health and Safety Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines in all retail locations.

- Implement safety protocols and train staff on emergency procedures and best practices.

9. Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate regular operational reports, including sales, inventory, and store performance metrics, to provide insights for management decision-making.

10. Vendor and Supplier Management:

- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products, resolve any supply-related issues, and manage relationships effectively.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven experience of 5+ years in operations management within the retail sector, with a focus on premium footwear brands and experience in managing EBOs and franchise stores.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

- Comprehensive understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and customer service best practices.

- Proficiency in using operational software and tools for inventory tracking, reporting, and process optimization.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across different teams.

- Willingness to travel as required to visit various retail locations.
