Retail Design Specialist & Finishes Role - Interior & Architectural

To take up the job responsibility in supporting the team head for the overall interior and architectural finishes related activities for new works, additional works, improvement works and repair works pertaining to T3, T1 and other buildings related to airport functioning. This is done by assessing the existing condition & situations and initialization of following activities:

1. Conceptualization of the works in form of sketches & layouts

2. Review of Retail Mock-ups based on the detailed drawing after approval of initial concept

3. Detailed Verification of BOQ's/estimates/ specifications for actual execution on site

4. Creation of NFA's and other SAP documentation required for the award of work

5. Ensuring timely execution of works by monitoring day to day progress in form of IR- s, measurement books etc

6. Certification of works done on submission of relevant documents like Operation & maintenance manual, bills with actual quantities executed etc.

7. Coordinating with Inter/Intra departmental Team of architects, Engineers ( MEP, CIVIL & interior) for coordination between DIAL/ GMR, Concessionaire and their architect, contractors for their Drawings approval and Project Execution as per airport and DIAL norms.

8. Drawings Evaluation/ Clearance and further releasing approvals to start the execution work.

9. Quality monitoring in terms of Airport Finishes standard and design/ execution manual/ regulations.

10. Coordination between another airport dept. to get permits and site clearances, HOTO etc from Airport authorities.

11. Project Tracking report showing each detail of project till it is ready for operation.

12. Approval on Go Live process and launching store/ Brands. project design approvals, Project execution Management, Finishes Control etc. Site coordination with Architect, contractor and concessionaire etc.

13. Conducting kickoff meeting with every new concessionaire & explaining the total process of design, onsite works, Airport restrictions, Airport entry pass etc..

14. Reviewing, commenting & approving concepts presented by various concessionaires in terms of detailed design, look & feel, color schemes, finishing quality, functionality & meeting Airport Standards or Guidelines

15. Concept Design review and approvals, Review drawings, managing design deliverables by brands, coordinate with DIAL commercial and Finishes on various design stages

16. Approving the new concepts, preparation of development plans, developing new concepts, reviewing of drawings & miscellaneous works etc..

17. Candidate will perform its duties in relation to the assigned project that for the Retail Development IGI Airport in New Delhi. You shall be based at the DIAL Project Office at IGIA, New Delhi

18. The company, however, reserves the right to post you at any of its Project sites or offices anywhere in India.

19. Providing Services to client and DIAL for the Retail Development at T1 & T3 at IGI Airport Project Planning, co-ordination, reporting and implementation of the assigned project.

20. Ensuring that the Services are synchronized to the progress of Works of the Project and performed in accordance with Good Industry Practice.

21. Reviewing, commenting & approval concepts presented by various concessionaires in terms of detailed design, look & feel, color schemes, finishing quality, functionality & meeting Airport standards or Guidelines.

22. Suggesting alternative & / or better solutions of design or details wherever required for up-gradation of units.

23. Keeping a control over the quality of materials proposed for structure & finish by doing onsite & offsite visits while fabrication of fixtures.

24. Discussing all finishing related design features with approval team & get inputs incorporated in the design from Concessionaire.

25. Following up for design & other details required for approval from concessionaire keeping them informed & alert towards timelines allotted for completion of fit outs.

26. Sorting out any FAQs from the concessionaire side.

27. Attending and initiating Kick off Meeting with every new concessionaire & explaining the total process of design.

28. Attending/ initiating coordination meetings with the Client, Contractor, Consultants and other stake holders.

29. Arranging for all necessary inspections required by the relevant authorities.

30. Reviewing of the As-Built documents submitted by the Contractor.

31. Performing other related duties for successful completion of the Project as per the requirements of DIAL.

32. Provide planning and technical support for other projects

33. Support in Business Development activities

34. Any other reasonable duties that may be assigned to you by your supervising officer

35. Organize and attend periodical meetings relevant to Retail finishes with relevant stakeholders.
