Purpose of the role

The jobholder is responsible for partnering and providing commercial advisory to Businesses and Functions to primarily facilitate achievement of the organisational budgets. The role holder's core objectives will be closely aligned to the Retail Business Finance unit in Financial Management Function among other ancillary responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities

- Anchor and manage Financial Management Information System for the organization including P&L and other Business Dashboards- Primary Focus areas will be Retail Businesses particularly Branch Banking, Third Party Products like BANCA, Investments, Securities business, Trade and FX, Digital Banking and Rural Banking

- Actively participate in the Budgeting and forecasting process at a Business Unit as well as Branch level, through active engagement with Business and Finance stakeholders.

- Assimilate monthly granular data through various systems and offline MIS to create Business Unit wise and branch level reports

- Own & Deliver - Development, Automation and Publishing of all monthly department level MIS for the organization

- Partner with various internal business stakeholders for discussion relating to various financial parameters as well as ad-hoc analysis

- Drive Granular Branch level profitability with focus on Opex Management and tracking of business to agreed KPI's

- Conceptualise and drive various liability as well as TPP analytics to bring more insights into the book behaviours at the Business unit as well as individual Branch level.

- Strict and timely monitoring of Various Balance Sheet and P&L parameters to ensure regular granular tracking and projections to maintain adequate discipline pertaining to agreed budgets

- Structured engagement with Business to highlight / recommend modifications to improve the shape of P&L and Productivity

- Continuously improve, simplify and automate processes related to Income booking, FTP and other reportings to the Business.

- Manage regular reporting to Business Heads, Management Committees, Board and other stakeholders at regular intervals

- Provide decisioning support to Sr Management in Business and Finance through advanced analytics and related dashboards

- Maintain audit readiness and lead internal & external audit discussions as per company guidelines
