Resolution Role - Legal - BFSI

Qualification: CA/MBA/LLB

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Identifying issues in the account and suggesting resolution measures like sale of non- core assets, restructuring, refinancing, gradual reduction in exposure, reference to NCLT under Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code etc

- Preparing appraisal notes by conducting in-depth credit and risk analysis Liasoning with internal groups, risk, relationship managers, compliance for processing the proposal thereby taking end to end ownership of the proposal

- Tracking and monitoring the account by conducting plant/site visits, analysing account statements, monitoring cashflows etc

- The candidate will be responsible for making the Resolution Strategy, driving the entire recovery process-SARFAESI Action, understanding the legal cases involved, restructuring, settlement etc

- Managing the recovery and resolution process of the acquired NPA Accounts.

- Closely monitoring of allocated portfolio of stressed assets, regular review of operational and financial performance, monthly cash flows/recovery, tracking performance of various industries which have a bearing on the respective assets etc

- Involves co-ordination with the legal team for the cases which may involve litigation.

- Interact with advocates for filing recovery suits, initiating action under SARFAESI Act, NCLT, attending DRT,DRAT, Magistrate Court, Session Court, etc. as required.

- Compliance activates like reporting to SR holder, getting rating done by agency, CIBIL reporting.

- Resolution process including restructuring loans, entering into settlement, issuing notice, taking possession of properties, conducting Public auction etc.

- Relationship development with higher ups of Banks/NBFCs/FIs

- Involvement in co-ordination with banks/NBFCs/FIs/Promoter/Consultants in structuring the transaction, OTS/settlement process.

- Assessment of debt assets under IBC process.
