Job Title: Researcher Formula Development

Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: R&D Manager

Education/Qualification:

- Bachelors/Masters in Pharma, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in formulation development.

- Minimum 1 year of experience if post-graduation is from tier-1 institutes.

- Proven experience in the FMCG industry for personal care products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulation Expertise: Leverage experience in developing, testing, and managing products in the personal care sector, with a focus on body products.

2. Innovation and New Product Development: Drive new product development by applying predictive models, continuous practices, and strategies to capitalize on new business opportunities. Lead formulation efforts integrating technologies with consumer insights to create actionable prototypes demonstrating consumer benefits.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and contribute to regulatory compliance practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and shaping the personal care industry.

4. Mentorship: Provide mentorship to new trainees and interns, sharing knowledge and expertise in formulation development.

Other requirements:

- Developing new product lines in various body products portfolio, from concept to launch.

- Expertise in carrying out due diligence of products from bench to shelf.

- Expertise in developing cost-optimized formulations and monitoring product stability.

- Conduct various sensory evaluations to understand consumer needs.

- Develop and perform benchtop product development as well as manufacturing trials (pilot, scale-up and commercialization).

- Skilled in carrying out various sensory evaluations on in-house panel to understand the larger consumer needs.

2. Technical: Knowledge of Basic Sciences, formulation, and stability monitoring.

3. Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of FMCG business environment.

4. Should be from Top FMCG companies
