Role- Operations Research Scientist (PhD in Operations Research / M.Tech / B.Tech in Operations Research & Mathematical Modelling)

Organization- Top Logistics Firm

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Be a part of the team setting up a data science roadmap for the organization and project pipeline for the team

2. End-to-end conceptualization, development & implementation of data science projects, along with the lines described above.

3. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across teams for project implementation - tech, data support, end-user functions

4. Work with the data infrastructure team to define processes & infrastructure for data science implementation

Qualifications

- PhD in Operations Research / M.Tech / B.Tech in Operations Research & Mathematical Modelling with IIT/IIM/Tier-1 engineering college

- 2-6 years of experience

Practical experience:

- Developing large-scale decision support tools for planning and execution support (e.g. vehicle routing, network optimization)

- Development and implementation of projects using machine learning

- Familiarity with: data visualization, simulation modeling, distributed big data processing, and data infrastructure

- Tool/Language knowledge: Python (advanced competence), SQL (working knowledge)
