Research Professional - Broker Votes - Sell Side Brokerage

Purpose of the job

Provide end to end support on Research Broker votes by understanding each of the regional requirements.

Job Description

- Understand and analyze client feedback received in the form of Broker Votes or account reviews from Client Management team or salespersons.

- Enter the Broker Vote data as provided in the Broker vote system as per predefined rules and interpretation for each client with complete accuracy

- Provide ongoing support to regional Research Business Managers or Research Analysts or Salespersons on queries or requests related to Broker Votes

- Actively contribute to make the process automated to make it more flexible and produce accurate and consistent results

- Continue building the strong relationships with the business and the stakeholders

- Day to day working and supporting of the global analysts across 20 locations on the broker votes

- Will be involved in projects and other domain related work, track the progress of the projects and ensure implementation.

Skills/Experience Required

- Exposure to Equities, and good to have experience in Sell Side brokerage

- Good knowledge on the equity research broker votes area

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to operate under pressure, multi-task, and be driven

- Extremely meticulous and organised

- Ability to both work in both a team environment and autonomously

- Must be a go getter

Qualifications

- Masters - MBA/M.COM from a reputed institution

Experience

- Atleast 2-3 years- experience in financial services

- Systems - Highly Proficient at Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Experience in Qlik and MS Access is a big plus

- Personal - Proficient in written and spoken English; diligent; ability to put extra efforts when required and above all, a team player
