Research Manager for a leading global service provider of services for IT, Telecommunication & cons
Position Objective :
- The position calls for a highly motivated individual who possesses outstanding writing, presentation, client interaction and business development skills.
- A research orientation with a consultative approach is a must have in terms of skills and aptitude.
- These capabilities will ideally have been developed over the past 7 to 10 years in a recognized analyst role concentrating on the applied use of technology in the in the ICT industry with a focus on client devices such PC, Desktop and Imaging and Printing.
- Tracking, analyzing and sizing of India client devices market such that on delivery front he/she can advise IT enterprises from the perspective of strategy, markets and deeper nuances of industry in terms of trends and quantitative research.
- High ability to handle senior leadership of client organizations, media and internal stakeholders. Ability to create thought leader content and collaborate with team across domains.
- High degree of number orientation that too through primary research using various tools like interviews, surveys and client relationship.
- Build working relationships with key vendor contacts and engage with them on qualitative and quantitative discussions
- Data analysis including collection, entry, processing and maintenance of databases for regional research programs
- Questionnaire design and execution
- Presentation of findings to clients
- Answer client inquiries and track client interactions in the database
- Assist and co-produce press releases, media queries and appearances
- Additionally interactions with partners and ecosystem players to understand business growth, growth contributors, go-to-market approach would be desired
- Externally, this position will interact with some of the Group's largest clients as well as niche, industry-specific vendors. Hence, strong client facing skills and a keen business sense to identify and package products in a way that meets client's needs is desired
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills with an ability to develop relationships with field teams, other analysts and support staff
- Mandatory to have 7 years of relevant experience

- Research Orientation specifically good experience in executing primary research.
- High degree of verbal, written communications. Should have experience in driving thought leader papers, reports and presentations.
- Should be able to handling and build relationship with senior leadership of Client Organisations
- Ability to learn and coach teams of various calibre in terms of providing high degree of leadership and mentorship
- Highly experience in creating and delivering external facing presentations providing in-depth market understanding and future directions.
- Must be able to create plans, updates and manage groups/programmes with a sound understanding of project management concepts
- Ability to build visibility of his/her teams members, align with organisation goals and objectives and drive business development
- Ability to be nimble and flexible with very high degree of learning capabilities.
- Ability to understand Processes, Products and Services and should be able to demonstrate innovation, improvements and high efficiency.
