The Role:
- This role is for someone who can bring strong editing, writing, and copy-editing skills to bear on research reports, articles, and other content, working closely and collaboratively with diverse groups of people
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced editor who can help analyse research findings in the context of business challenges and opportunities
- This individual will be highly organized, with excellent time-management skills and a keen interest in how research findings across all aspects of business/industry/technology distil into clear and compelling narratives that help executives improve business performance.
- Demonstrated ability to edit, write and copy edit: reports, articles, and other materials, preferably
Skills Required:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex, challenging stakeholder environments.
- The imagination and empathy to write persuasively and authoritatively for C-level executives and other senior leaders in global organizations. A love of language.
- The ability to balance multiple considerations in creating thought leadership-ideas, research inputs, intended business outcomes, brand considerations.
- A high degree of intellectual curiosity in technology, strategy and management.
- An ongoing desire to improve writing skills and business knowledge, and a willingness to be coached in these areas.
- Excellent time-management and communication skills
- Ability with Word essential; facility with PowerPoint useful
Qualifications and Experience:
Preferred Experience:
- More than six years' experience as an editor with a business, management, or technology publication and/or as a thought leadership editor with a professional services firm.
- Experience writing/editing for digital channels.
Education: Bachelor's degree
