What we are looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous.

- 12+ years of work experience in data engineering or related fields, with a proven track record in supporting global and local research projects.

- Capability to design, develop, and maintain data solutions in cloud environments, promoting and implementing best practices for big data processing and management.

- Proficiency in developing GenAI tools and frameworks such as Langchain and LLamaindex, along with experience in building and querying databases like VectorDB and Milvus.

- Familiarity with both closed and open-source LLMs (Large Language Models) and expertise in designing data pipelines and processes orchestration.

- Strong programming skills in Python for processing structured and unstructured data, as well as proficiency in SQL for handling large datasets.

- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, CI/CD tools, and GCP data services including Cloud Composer, BigQuery, and Dataflow.

- Ability to translate business needs into data solutions, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively in a diverse team.

- Demonstrated professionalism with client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience, and enthusiasm for meeting deadlines and achieving stretch goals.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a passion for sharing insights and collaborating with stakeholders.
