Salary : Hike based on current salary

Experience : Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

Job Description :

1. Design and develop Applied Research based R & D infrastructure for the dairy

2. Train Research Assistance for the R&D department activities

3. Develop research Library

4. Develop Vision & Mission for the R & D activity for the organisation based on its Core Values

5. Develop wholistic plan for Research Based product development areas

6. Develop Strategic Plan for conducting research with -

- Quality parameters

- product attributes

- targeted market segment

- disposal of milk & milk derivatives

- remunerative returns to the organisation

- exclusivity in the market

- initiative for brand building

7. Improve existing products for their -

- texture

- body

- physical appearance and appeal

- content

- nutritional value

- shelf life

- packaging material

- shape & size for consumer appeal and convenience etc.

8. Develop new products for the present and future market - research based and market feedback based

9. Documentation of the research findings

10. Registration of patent

11. Publication of research papers on behalf of the Organisation

12. Develop concept for plant and machinery for the new products

The R&D Manager will be aiming to deliver results that will Enhance the Image of the organisation and the products will build the brand in the market place.

The educational qualification - Graduate Degree in Dairy or Food Technology. Contender with Masters Degree or PHD in Foods or Dairy will be preferred.

The contender who has worked in research sector, product development centre, applied research Laboratory will be preferred.
