Research Associate - M&A/Spinoffs/Dutch Auctions

Research Associate

The associate will work with the Equity Event team to manage data related to Mergers and Acquisitions, Spin offs and Dutch Auctions. It would require the individual to develop deep understanding of these events and be the primary specialist for the same within the organization.

Responsibilities could include any of the following :

- Manage data processes related to equity events like Mergers and Acquisitions, Spinoffs, Dutch Auctions etc

- Develop deep understanding of these events. Work with the development team to set up the quantitative investment strategy around the same.

- Track news on the mergers and acquisitions in the portfolio. Update the Investment Committee on the same.

- Understand and track deal life cycle from announcements to completion.

- Analyze deal data across different factors like region, payment type, structure etc.

- Develop analytics to track market environment for different equity events. Work with the Investment Committee to incorporate these analytics in the portfolio and client communications.

Qualifications :

- Qualified candidates will have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and an MBA degree from leading institutes in India.

- Candidates should also have astute commercial sense, excellent communication skills, effective presentation abilities, and possess strong analytical skills.
