Research Analyst/Senior Research Analyst - Data Science - Asset Management Firm

Description Work closely with Client's (Leading Asset Management Firm) Data Science team to support on various projects related to NLP/text mining/ML working closely with portfolio managers/strategy

The data management associate will be responsible for working closely with data science on multiple data science/NLP/ML projects

Location Pune

Experience 2 - 6 years

Job Duties - Apply textual analysis using NLP on Financial Statements, 10K/10Q etc.

- Leverage machine learning techniques to build quantitative tools for investment management

- Work on projects across

- Work on large data sets pertaining to financial market data using structured data sources such as Factset, Thomson Reuters etc. and unstructured data

- Summarize results and present it using dashboards/visualization tools in Python to share it with relevant stakeholders

Qualification - B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech

Skills required

- Strong Python skills is required with good exposure to SQL

- Experience in data handling/manipulation/analysis using both Python/SQL and presenting results using visualization techniques

- Good exposure to statistical analysis, techniques such as Regression and exposure/experience of working on NLP/machine learning projects would be added advantage

- Detailed oriented and a self-starter

- Strong communication skills with proven ability to interact with global clients

- Diligence, high level of attention to detail and accuracy

CTC Range-

1-3 Year- Upto 10.5 LPA

3-5 Year- Upto 17 LPA
