Research Analyst - SAS/Quant

Role

- Create exhibits and text for research papers published by the team

- Create SAS, Excel-VBA and batch coding integrated automated reports

- Create and maintain databases using data from different sources

- Comment on sector themes, quantitative factor strategies and macroeconomic trends

- Undertake bespoke request for data analysis and back testing for clients as well as quantitative stock screens

- Revamp/upgrade existing reports and databases

- Keep an eye on increasing the efficiency of the regular report generation process

Candidate Profile

- High degree of comfort with SAS and Excel-VBA

- Candidate should be capable of manipulating large quantities of data

- Strong communication skills with proven ability to interact with global clients

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy

- Diligence and hard work

- Understanding of company financial statements and accounting would be an added advantage

- Excellent analytical and functional skills in coding, use of databases, financial and market modelling and statistics

- Willingness to stretch and be proactive

Essential Qualifications

- PG in Engineering / Math / Statistics / Economics

Preferred Qualifications

- PG in Engineering / Math / Statistics / Economics + MBA / CFA L1
