Overall purpose of role

The resource will function as a data analyst within the Metrics and Analytics team. The overall purpose of the role is to:

- Provide valuable monetization analysis for the FICC Product Management Team

- Produce regular and ad hoc management information and exception reports, involving the integration of data from multiple sources and presenting data using relevant BI tools (Tableau and SAP Business Objects)

Key Accountabilities - 

The main duties of the job will be composed of the following:

- Understanding the FICC Research business and products

- Understanding and inputting client data to front office systems

- Producing regular and adhoc reports using various datasets (related to CRM/Research usage metrics/Regulatory reporting/Financial Analysis). Complexity would range from fulfillment of ad hoc requests, generation of standardized reports through to fairly complex data analytics

- Delivering/Maintaining interactive tools and advanced dashboards by using Tableau and Business Objects

- Interfacing with PMG, research and sales functions to update input data for PMG reporting

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

As part of a global team, the Mumbai based individual will be directly required to interact and work with PMG, research and sales teams across various regions and timezones. The individual will require exceptionally strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Decision-making and Problem Solving

This role requires the candidate to have good decision making skills as they will be required to gather and present data meaningfully to senior stakeholders. The data and analysis required varies depending on the purpose of the request and hence the candidate will be required to use judgement and knowledge to pull out the relevant metrics and present them appropriately.

Skillset - 

- Working knowledge of Tableau is must

- BO (Business Objects)

- Data visualization and data analytics using Tableau

- Report development using SAP Business Objects

- Knowledge of financial concepts such as equity and debt financial instruments

- 2-4 years of hands on experience in management and exception reporting, BI and/or Excel Analytics

- Excellent communication skills

- Good educational scores

1. Please note we need to have CVs with a proper experience (minimum 1 - 2 years) in Tableau. Many people just mentioned it on their profile as they might have gained knowledge of the product, but that will not suffice.

2. Can you highlight some of the Dashboards you have built in Tableau? - A candidate with 1-2 years of experience in Tableau must have built at least 3-4 full scale dashboards.

3. How much do you interact with end stakeholders (client, management etc.) to brainstorm on the analysis/problem statement while building these Tableau Dashboards? Try to understand if an individual interacts with business or is just a technical contributor.

4. What's your overall experience in SAP Business Objects? - It is good to have at least some knowledge/experience in Business Objects, but still secondary compared to top 3.
