JOB SUMMARY - It is for a CNR (Chemicals & Natural Resources) Research Analyst role. - The candidate should have industry knowledge from a business/market research perspective and will perform secondary research focusing on CNR - Chemical and Natural Resources (Mining, Metals, Forest Products, Building Materials) topics such as industry trends, market sizing and opportunities, competitor intelligence, benchmarking, financial analysis. - Knowledge of market dynamics; key industry players; the critical metrics for evaluating company performance; and the structure of companies- operations are all necessary. - Passion for and understanding of the Chemicals-Natural Resources industry: understanding of key industry trends and challenges; the value chain and how product reaches market; company financial value drivers; key players; opportunities in developed and emerging markets; and customer trends. - This role is in our Bangalore-based team, which is a team of 60+ researchers covering all our industries and business lines globally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform secondary research and assist with supporting CNR research needs on key topics as highlighted above. - Manage and perform complex research across CNR topics when needed utilizing different sources and advanced secondary research techniques (desk research, interviews of subject matter experts).
