Research Analyst - Pre MBA Program

One of our clients which is a long only fund focusing on India Market investments is looking to hire a research analyst with 1-2 years of experience for a pre MBA program

This is a two-year pre-MBA position offering an opportunity to work in front-end buy-side investing role, ideal for candidates looking to pursue an MBA/higher study in the future.

The position involves supporting various aspects of fund management and investor relations:

- Creating fund marketing materials like presentations and newsletters that detail fund information, portfolio insights, and opportunities in the Indian market.

- Assisting portfolio managers and the investment team through data analysis and research on companies and industries.

- Conducting research on macro-economic variables such as GDP, inflation, interest rates, and foreign reserves.

- Contributing to team discussions on investment decisions.

- Exploring innovative data sources and generating creative research ideas.

- Collaborating with the IT team to manage tools for fund management activities such as NAV estimation and custom web-page formatting for investors.

- Supporting investor relations activities by updating and creating fund information documents and maintaining investor/prospect databases.

They are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for data analysis and research and proficient in MS Office.
