Our Client is a part of one of Asia's largest wealth management fintech platforms. In 2000, the company was founded and since then headquartered in Singapore They are listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange since 2014. The group provides a comprehensive range of investment products and services to financial advisory firms, financial institutions, banks, multinational companies, as well as retail and high net worth investors in Asia.

They have presence in five markets across Asia, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, India and China. our Client offers an online mutual funds distribution platform for retail investors as well as independent financial advisers in India. Some of the services provided include in-house research and global perspectives, access to expert opinions from the industry and more importantly, an online account allowing them to invest in mutual funds.

Job Responsibilities :

- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis with a business perspective attached to research and prepare analytical and concise written reports

- Use strong written communication skills to synthesize research into logical and well-designed outputs

- Work with the marketing team to create research content on our web portals including web casts, interviews and web articles

- Combine knowledge of various data/information sources and strategic frameworks to collect information relevant to answer stakeholder requests and analyze client portfolios

- Monitor regulatory developments, financial market happenings and important developments in the fund industry, markets and the broader economy

- Conduct presentation to internal and external stakeholders with regards to research views

- Provide training and guidance to analysts to understand the company's research and methodology and improve the research capabilities

- Represent the company in both print and TV media

- Regularly interact and network with external stakeholders to keep abreast with industry happenings

- Liaison with market data aggregators and research report providers

- Steer new funds set-up process and ensure proper due diligence before the funds set-up

- All other duties and matters ancillary to the above that management may assign from time to time

Key Skills:

- Proficient in written English and writing and presentation skills

- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skill

- Possess strong leadership and project management skills

- Client-oriented, pleasant, meticulous and obliging disposition

- Able to prioritize tasks and multitask within compressed times

Mandatory:

- 3 - 6 years of work experience in industry/country/business/market/equity/mutual fund research with in-depth knowledge of global marketplace, key trends, economic and geo-political developments, global supply chain, and key business and financial risks

- Proficiency in using Excel / Modeling techniques / Bloomberg /Reuters / Morning Star / CRISIL data bases

- Experience in quantitative and qualitative research of Equity and MFs

- Knowledge on Primary / Secondary, Equity and Fixed Income Markets

Relevant Experience: 3 - 6 years of work experience in industry/country/business/market/equity/mutual fund research with in-depth knowledge of global marketplace, key trends, economic and geo-political developments, global supply chain, and key business and financial risks

Job Location: Mumbai - Goregaon East

Working Days: 5 days

Qualification :

- Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Accountancy or Engineering

- A professional certification (CFA/CFP/LIFA or equivalent) is desirable
