Research Analyst - Agri

Research analyst will be a member of the Company's research team focusing on commodities produced by India and globally traded with India. Analyst will be responsible for developing regional demand scenarios for various commodities. Research analyst will work in close proximity with the Agronomist to finally develop the demand and supply balance sheets of various commodities.

Analyst will also be responsible for coordinating and establishing both short and long term demand outlook for the region. Analyst would be required to release periodic reports for the internal as well as external clients. Analyst would also require traveling and creating network of information for developing demand and supply balance sheets of the respective commodity.

Main activities are assisting in the forecasting of the Commodity Supply and Demand :

- Create monthly balance sheet of a commodity, with its respective forward as well as backward integration.

- Compile and review the data collected.

- Regularly update the balance sheet through tele surveys

- Correlation analysis and building regression models

- Assist to provide timely and quality qualitative and quantitative in-depth reviews and recommendations of the data collected.

- Provide actionable/tradable market insights focused on demand and supply analysis.

- Assist to liaise with governmental bodies/trade associations for data that could bring an added value to research.

- Establish regular communications with internal as well as external clients through regular reports

- Any other tasks/projects, as and when required.
