Reporting Role - IFRS & UK GAAP - CA - IT

IFRS & UK GAAP Reporting [ Only CAs ]

Primary Responsibilities:

- Managing the team for smooth delivery of Group subsidiaries accounts and related processes

- Be main point of contact for UK Group Finance team

- Supervise & mentor team; ensure team is adequately trained

- Prepare account timetable plans

- Perform second line of review of financial statements of Group subsidiaries as per IFRS / applicable GAAP

- Liaise with respective business units for queries, seeking information / details relevant for financial statements preparation

- Evaluate / review audit queries, discuss with respective business units and provide resolution

- Liaise with Group auditors for any queries / information required and resolve in a timebound manner

- Adhering to strict timelines of preparation, review and sign off financial statements

- Timely filing of financial statements with Companies House / Regulator

- Review month end intergroup balances and resolve any differences

- Review documentation for intergroup funding / loans / borrowings, etc.

- Review month end balances /Trial Balance

- Undertake, review on a regular basis impairment testing of goodwill / investments

- Any other matters / reporting as required by management

- Provide adequate training to team to meet objectives / timelines

- Coach, guide and support the team to achieve individual and team objectives

Key Result Areas:

- Manage timely delivery Group subsidiaries accounts and financial statements, XBRL tagging and filing of financial statements, impairment testing of goodwill / investments etc.
