We have an urgent opening for Reporting Analyst.  Experience: 6-10 years  Designation : As per experience  Location: Bangalore  Skill : Cognos reporting, SQl queries  Role and Responsibilities:  - Gather requirements, identify MIS data gaps, standardize metrics and tracking, and create new/modified report prototypes and automated reporting solutions.   - Support management with evaluating and identifying new processes within operational production areas as well as designing and implementing new innovative ways to push, pull, publish, and report information.   - Design and develop new and enhanced reporting, scorecards, and dashboards to drive improved results.  - Work closely with MIS peers and MB business partners to understand reporting and data needs; collect business requirements; develop data elements, metrics, and layouts.  - Be engaged in the process of enhancing and leveraging BI tools to support reporting and analytics  - 6-10 years of data analyst experience.  - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent experience in financial analysis, data mining, or portfolio analysis.  - Proven experience writing SQL queries and interacting with Oracle/Data Warehouse  - Prior experience working with operations to define needs and deliver requirements  - Knowledge of Essbase Excel Add-in, Excel, MS Access required.  - Selected candidate will be required to adhere to production support processes and implementation change management procedures.  - Applicants must be able to work in a rapidly changing environment and able to provide quick turn around times for solutions to new initiatives as well as solutions to problem  - Knowledge of IBM Cognos reporting  Rakesh
