Position Overview

Replicon is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer for our Bangalore office to enhance pre-sales initiatives for the North American sales team. The position includes designing and delivering presentations highlighting the Replicon suite of products, negotiating contract terms, and closing sales. This inside sales opportunity will use your skills as a product sales expert and turn this expertise into new business for Replicon, and with our clients being worldwide the majority of your communication will be through telephone and computer technology.

Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations

- Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process

- Able to respond verbally and in writing to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

- Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of Replicon to all levels in a client organization

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or equivalent

- Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in a similar pre-sales position, preferably in software/SaaS environment

- Proven track record in the development and delivery of software demonstrations and presentations, including technical concepts, to key decision makers to address their business issues and needs

- Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

- Must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology

This role requires the employee to be working in the North-American shift timings.
