RentSher - Chief Operations Officer - Logistics Expert

www.RentSher.com is the next generation collaborative consumption platform and is expanding rapidly across Bangalore for rental requirements in apparels, electronics, and events.

- The team is looking to build a team of strong Operational and business leaders who can own full vertical categories in terms of supply chain, logistics, customer, and vendor relation management and finally, work with operation team to ensure fulfillment of deliveries of products.

- Electronics includes subcategories like laptops, projection systems, A/V, Home appliances and more.

Preferred qualification: MBA with operations background

Roles & Responsibilities:

RentSher is peer to peer product renting platform with complete fulfillment. Peer to peer elements adds complexity to the system due to 4 point delivery for every order. In addition, this is hyperlocal business where transactions are limited within a city

We are looking for passionate logistics expert who can work and solve this challenge by means of processes, tools, and technology. Your effectiveness is measured by quality & efficiency of delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for a team of operations managers & delivery executives spread across the city along with warehouses

You will manage end to end operations lifecycle from picking the product from the owner, quality checks, deliveries, product return and dispute resolution

You will work closely with tech team to build a technology solution to automate, measure and manage key operations matrices such as no. of delivery per executive, cost of delivery, time to delivery, no. of disputes per delivery etc.

You will be tech savvy, good understanding of hyperlocal business logistics, great eye for detail, excellent customer communication and most of all owning the role 24x7

Previous expertise in managing hyperlocal delivery operations is a plus.
