ReNew Power - Strategy Role - Green Hydrogen Segment (5-10 yrs)

The person would drive key initiatives for the Green Hydrogen Business at ReNew. These key initiatives would span a range from the typical operational projects all the way to projects that lead to strategic outcomes for the future roadmap of the Green Hydrogen Business.

This role will have to work with the senior leadership of the company. Hence, skills of influence without authority and strong communication and leadership skills will be critical for success in this role. The candidate will play a key role in the development of company-wide processes and procedures that will improve productivity, manage risk and support company growth and profitability.

- Develop a detailed understanding of Business drivers and highlight interventions required by leadership

- Help coordinate execution of initiatives all the way from framing the intent to following up with the right cadence of reviews to see them through

- Form an independent view on business operations, risks, potential mitigation steps

- Support in monitoring & tracking progress (both timelines and cost) of projects

- Track project development progress, and ensure current projects are meeting timelines & escalate as necessary

Key outcomes expected from the role:

- Thought partner to leadership of operations

- Ensuring smooth functioning of all business operations

- Sharing a timely risk view to business head, with potential mitigation steps

- Enables right interventions from leadership to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in Core Operations

- Be the key to connect leadership with the entire team

Experience and skills:

- Experience in Corporate Strategy / Management Consulting

- Experience of Power/ Renewables industry is highly preferred

- Demonstrated experience of working on large scale engagements

- Analytical and strategic thinker who can plan, organize, execute and report out ideas and results

Education / Experience:

- Qualification: Graduate + Post-graduate (MBA/PGDM in operations/strategy/finance) from Tier-I institutes

- Experience: 5 to 10 years post highest degree, preferably in the energy sector

Communication skills:

- Ability to communicate with cross functional roles is a must

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent presentation skills

- Good interpersonal skills
