ReNew Power Limited is India's largest renewable energy IPP (Independent Power Producer) with a capacity of over 10 GW of wind and solar power assets across the country. It develops, builds, owns and operates utility scale wind and solar energy projects as well as distributed solar energy projects that generate energy for commercial and industrial customers.

Job Purpose:

To lead market origination & new business development for short-medium term bilateral contracts with target state & their utilities. This will also include BD for energy services like EPM, EAAS, building customized RE products for each utility and maintain relationships across the state machinery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Profile requires closely working with DISCOMs/ Utilities.

- Maintain relationship and close engagement with state machinery.

- Develop & track the short to medium term bilateral market and work on the relevant opportunities.

- Work closely with other verticals to develop a RE Road map for respective states and lead the discussion with the target states.

- Give customized solutions for state utilities by working closely with internal teams.

- Pitch for EPM, EAAS and other services to various states

- Lead internal discussions regarding customized state proposals in short to medium-term.

- Management inputs for opportunity mapping & tracking for target states

- Support in Policy & Regulatory Enablers across both Centre & state.

- Develop New Product & customized Contracts based on interactions & understanding.

Profile & Eligible Criteria:

- The Ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in the power sector and must have dealt with various state utilities and other bodies for business development in the renewable, thermal, hydro, etc. space.

- Experience in working across renewable is not a must, but some prior understanding will be a plus. On qualification, we will prefer an Engineering + MBA profile.
