Key Elements of the Role: Preparing and analyzing financial models for hybrid renewable energy tenders such as Peak Power, Round The Clock tenders. Coordination with external and internal stakeholders. Prepare investment proposals, management presentations, analysis of competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes. - Develop and maintain financial models to support management decision making on investments and research. - Develop a deep understanding of the evolving power & renewable energy sector in India - Coordinate with external stakeholders - Prepare detailed investment documents and investment approval requests to aid decision making - Prepare bid documents for submission and manage the bid process through different rounds of the bidding process - Deep dive into exhaustive M&A evaluations using valuation frameworks, target business models, and management feedback - Prepare opportunity/portfolio level PPTs to support an investment decision - Compile reports/ppts on performance parameters, key portfolio highlights, and market research Key Result Areas & Outcomes expected from the Role - Excellent analytical skills with hands-on experience in working in the Power domain - Exceptional written/ oral communication and presentation skills - In-depth analysis of competitive landscape in the renewable industry along with tracking of various developments in the sector - Preparation of periodical MIS, scenario analysis, etc. - Understanding of regulatory landscape pertaining to power & renewable sector, current challenges, and opportunities within it Experience required Critical - Candidate should have 3 to 5year experience with a focus on financial modeling, bid evaluation, bid preparation, and management presentations. Candidates with an Investment Banking background and work experience in Power/ Renewable energy sector will be preferred. Should be strong in an understanding of the regulatory framework of the Power sector in India. Desirable - Background Hybrid renewable energy systems along with techno-commercial understanding will be preferable.
