- Creating and updating financial models/spreadsheets with both historical numbers and future estimates. - Gathering data relevant to the sector around pricing, promotions, etc. - Compiling historical data in respect of stocks and companies from publicly available sources. - Updating and maintaining databases to track relevant financial, economic or other indicators which may be relevant to the sector and/or region under coverage - Monitoring relevant market news - Analysis of quarterly numbers. Attending investor calls and sharing meeting notes with the fund managers. - Independently meeting company managements/ industry experts and sharing meeting notes with the fund managers. - Working out valuations for the targeted companies. - Assisting with adhoc analysis as may be required
