- Work closely with business groups on complex and ambiguous business problems.

- Using a structured approach and identify the appropriate analytical model to solve the problem.

- Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques

- Data mining using state-of-the-art methods.

- Extending the company's data with third-party sources of information.

- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.

- Doing the ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.

- Need to be a creative thinker and propose innovative ways to look at problems by using data mining.

- Provide expertise on statistical/mathematical concepts for identified problems and provide appropriate models to solve them.
