Reliance - Senior Investigator

Introduction

The Senior Investigator will identify and lead investigations for incidences of theft, corruption, and bribery. The individual will be responsible for examining the collected data from multiple sources, and developing a detailed step-by-step account of the crime that took place. They will report this account with culpable evidence to the team lead and organization leadership with suitable recommendations and steps to take forward.

Position will be based in Navi Mumbai with operations pan-India.

Job Responsibilities

1. Proactively identify leads using data and field intelligence

2. Lead the team by setting up processes and systems

3. Collate and analyze data from dissimilar sources to find all the participating offenders

4. Track financial transactions across multiple accounts to be investigated to find culpable evidence

5. Prepare the relevant case documents, stitch a coherent narrative based on facts and evidence

6. Inform senior leadership about the progress as well as any challenges in investigation

7. Work with the legal team and law enforcement to prosecute the offenders based on evidence uncovered

Skills and requirements

- Proven experience (15+ years) in investigation and demonstrated track record in solving anti-bribery and corruption cases

- Comprehensive understanding of use of technology & data, financial forensics, and field investigation for conducting the investigation

- Experience in managing teams and leading sensitive investigations independently for a large and complex organization with diverse stakeholders.

- Prior experience in consulting background in Anti-bribery and corruption, investigative journalism, ex-government investigative agency like IRS, IPS, CBI.
