Roles and responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance visibility and organic traffic for the ecommerce grocery retail platform.
- Lead a team of SEO specialists to optimize website content, structure, and performance for search engines.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and expansion.
- Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, such as traffic, rankings, and conversion rates, to track the effectiveness of SEO initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and marketers, to align SEO efforts with overall business objectives
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in SEO to continuously improve the ecommerce grocery retail platform's search engine presence.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on SEO performance, trends, and opportunities for optimization
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 7 years+ an SEO or similar role, preferably in the ecommerce industry.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, best practices, and algorithm updates.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving measurable outcomes in SEO performance.
